Description

Regency Cottage, dated 1822, is a two-storey building with a semi-basement. The upper two floors are roughcast, while the semi-basement features stucco with a rusticated finish. The side elevation is weatherboarded. It has a hipped slate roof with one curved dormer. The cottage includes three sash windows with intact glazing bars and Venetian shutters. There is a trellised porch with steps and a handrail. A garage has been added, connecting the property to Grafton Cottage, which has a room above it. Regency Cottage, Grafton Cottage, and Nos 1 to 10 Wellington Terrace form a group, with the latter being buildings of local interest.
