Description

Smithy House, built in 1829, is a single-storey estate cottage with its gable end facing the road. The cottage features rubble walls with freestone dressings and a modern diamond-tiled roof, which is slated at the rear. It has oversailing eaves with plain barge boards and tall brick stacks. The gable has two windows with rebated ends, raised margins, and cross windows, along with a tablet above. The front also has two windows and a central doorway that is sheltered by a timber porch.
