Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of six houses, numbered 288 to 293, situated on London Road. The buildings are constructed of brown brick with a parapet featuring stone coping. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with a single sash window on each floor. Houses 289, 291, and 293 have three-light bay windows. Horizontal stringcourses run along the facades. Simple round-headed doorcases, featuring six-panelled doors, provide access to each property, with flights of steps and cast iron railings leading up to the entrances. These six houses form a group with numbers 279 to 319.
