Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of four buildings, numbered 281 to 284, located on London Road. The buildings are two storeys high with a basement and attics, constructed of brown brick and topped with a slate mansard roof featuring four dormers. The roofline is finished with stone coping. The windows are sash windows, with some original glazing bars remaining. Simple, round-headed doorcases provide access, approached by flights of steps with cast iron railings. Buildings 279 to 319 form a group.
