Description

Buckland Place is a group of buildings located on the south-west side of London Road, consisting of four storeys and basements, constructed from brown brick. Number 298 features a pediment and has three intact sash windows with glazing bars, while the other buildings in the group have one sash window each. The doorcases are accessed by flights of steps. Number 299 includes a three-light canted bay window on the first floor. Numbers 295, 296, and 297 are distinguished by their ogee-shaped doors. This group of buildings, which includes numbers 279 to 319, is listed as Grade II for its architectural significance.
