Description
Nos. 81 and 82 on Collins Lane are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They feature brick on the ground floor and end walls, with the first floor being tile-hung. The cottages have an old plain tile roof and are two stories high, each with two bays and an outshot at one end. The central entrance of each cottage has an early 19th-century planked door set in a solid frame. The inner bay contains an early 19th-century two-light cast-iron casement window, while the outer bay has a three-light similar window. On the first floor, there are wide 19th-century two-light cast-iron casement windows and fish-scale tiles. The end stacks have been rebuilt, and the outshot to the left is made of brick, featuring a small casement window to the right of the weatherboarding, along with a planked door.
