Description
Nos. 8-11 on Winchester Street are a row of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of rendered brick and feature a slate roof. The building is two stories high and consists of eight bays, arranged as four pairs of two-bay cottages, with doors located in the center of each pair. The doors are planked, except for the four-panel door on the right. The inner bay of the end cottages and the outer bay of the center cottages have two-light casement windows on each floor. The left bay of the left cottage has a similar window, while the center bays feature a single casement window with a shared sill on the first floor. The roof is hipped, with shared stacks positioned between the end and center cottages.
