Description

Nos. 45 and 47 on Lower End are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from clunch with a front wall primarily made of gault brick, topped with a pantiled roof that features one shared ridge stack and end stacks. The cottages are one storey high with attics. Each cottage has two dormer windows, which may have been added in the 20th century, and there are segmental arches over two original horizontal sliding sash windows on either side of the doorway. The doors are boarded.
