Description

This barn, located to the northeast of Manor Farmhouse, dates back to 1767, as indicated by the inscription "RB 1767" on a brace between the tie beam and post. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, featuring a steeply pitched roof that is currently covered with asbestos, although it was originally thatched. The barn consists of seven bays and has an aisle. Inside, the framing and roof structure remain intact, showcasing a double purlin roof where the upper purlin is clasped between the collar and principal rafters.
