Description

Number 9 Stocks Barn East and Number 7 Stocks Barn West are a pair of houses that were originally a barn built in the early 17th century. The structure is timber-framed and covered with weatherboarding, topped with a thatched roof made of long straw. It consists of six bays and has an aisle. Inside, the original framing remains intact, featuring wind bracing to the side purlin roof. The posts have jowled heads, and there is bracing from the posts to the tie beams.
