Description

Nos 17 and 19 High Street are mid to late 18th-century cottages. They are constructed of clunch and are plaster rendered over a red brick plinth, which has a moulded upper edge that may indicate an earlier construction date. The cottages feature a slate roof and a ridge stack. They follow a typical three-room, lobby entry plan and stand two storeys tall. Each storey has three original flush frame horizontal sliding sash windows. There are two doorways; one leads to the lobby entry, while the other, located on the left side, appears to have been added later.
