Description

West View is a cottage dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plaster-rendered exterior, topped with a red pantile roof and a gault brick ridge stack. The building features a three-bay layout with a lobby entry plan and an outshut at the rear. It stands two storeys high and includes three original flush frame horizontal sliding sash windows with small panes on both the first and ground floors. There is a panelled door located opposite the stack, which is framed by a reeded surround.
