Description

The White Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with plaster rendering and a longstraw thatched roof, which is complemented by a grey brick ridge stack and an end stack added in the 19th century. The cottage has a three-bay plan with the entrance located at the low end of the center bay. It stands two storeys tall and includes four flush frame horizontal sliding sash windows on the upper floor, with three similar windows on the ground floor. The doorway is set within a 20th-century rustic porch.
