Description

This is a barn located immediately west of Number 2, Pursley Farm House, dating from the 18th century. It has a timber frame and is covered with weatherboarding, topped by a tiled roof. The barn consists of five bays, with added aisles and a central gabled threshing bay facing the yard. There are doors and windows that open towards the yard, and a low gabled extension is present at the gable end closest to the house. Inside, the barn features tenoned purlins, collar beams, and queen struts supporting the principals, along with braced straight tie beams. The walling on the northeast side includes studding and curved tension braces.
