Description

The barn located to the rear of Number 21 on Church Street in Great Missenden dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and features weatherboarding and an old tile roof. The north side has a gabled cart entry and some modern windows. Inside, the barn consists of three bays, with the eastern bay being wider and having an additional collar. The interior also includes curved braces and raking posts that support the purlins.
