Description
Nos. 13 and 14 on Winchester Street are a pair of semi-detached cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from flint with brick dressings and bands. The cottages are two stories high with two bays and feature a single-storey porch at each end, which contains a planked door. There is a brick plinth, and on the ground floor, each cottage has a three-light cast iron casement window set under a cambered rubbed brick arch, with a course of blue headers above. A brick band runs along the first floor, with a brick strip separating the two cottages. Above, there is a two-light cast iron casement window with an arch in the brick eaves band. The cottages have flat eaves and a large central chimney stack.
