Description

May Tree Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage featuring flint and brick bands with brick dressings, a thatched roof, and a weatherboarded store. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three bays, with a store bay at the left end. There is a planked door located in a gabled weatherboard and tile porch between the right bays. The cottage has three 2-light camber-head casements, and above the left two bays, there is a 2-light casement in an eyebrow dormer. The left store bay includes a plank door and a 3-pane window. The roof is hipped with a ridge piece and a stack positioned above the door. Additionally, there is a cottage outshot at the rear on the right end.
