Description
Austin Cross Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located in Kings Somborne. It is constructed of brick with a weatherboarded store and features a thatched roof. The cottage has two bays and is one and a half storeys high, with an outshot at each end, the left side containing the store. There is a 20th-century gabled porch to the left of center. On the left side and in the right outshot, there is a single casement window, while on the right side, there is a two-light casement window, all with segmental heads. Above these, there is an eyebrow dormer that contains one- and two-light casement windows. The roof sweeps down at each end, and there is a ridge stack located above the door.
