Description

The headstone and three tombchests belong to the Edwards family and are located on the south side of the chancel of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. They date from the late 18th century and are made of Portland stone. The inscriptions include a headstone from 1763 for James Edwards, a tombchest from 1783 for James Edwards, another from 1789 for Elizabeth Reeves (nee Edwards), and a tombchest from 1832 for James Edwards.
