Description
This is a cottage located at 28 Leckford Lane, which dates back to the 17th century but was refaced in the 18th century. It has a timber-frame structure with brick infill and rebuilding, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage is 1½ stories high and consists of three bays, with an outshot at the rear. The left bay features exposed framing. There is a 20th-century door in the left bay, while the other bays have 19th-century three-light cast-iron casement windows, along with two-light similar windows in eyebrow dormers. The roof is hipped on the left side and half-hipped on the right, with a chimney stack located at the left end of the ridge and another on the right end.
