Description
Church Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 19th century. It features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded, standing on a brick plinth, and topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays, with a smoke bay located to the left of the center. There is a planked door with a diamond light and a gabled hood above it, situated between the right bays. In the right bay, there is a 19th-century three-light casement window, while a two-light casement window is found in the eyebrow dormer. The left bay contains a 20th-century two-light casement window. The roof is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right, featuring a 17th-century stack to the left of the center and an external projecting stack at the right end.
