Description

Grange Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the late 18th century. It has a timber-frame core that is encased in brick, with a thatched upper roof at the front and a tiled lower part. The cottage is one and a half storeys high and has three bays facing the road. There are planked doors at either end of the far bay, and each bay features a two-light casement window with a segmental head. The roof has three two-light gabled dormers, is half-hipped, and includes a ridge piece. An external stack is located at the road end, and there is a large stack above the inner door.
