Description

The Church Hall, formerly a Sunday school, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features an old plain tile roof. The building consists of a two-bay tall hall, with a parallel range at the rear on one bay, a cross wing, and a porch on the side. Each bay of the hall has a tall three-light window with iron diamond panes and a transom, topped by a pointed brick arch and a gable above. There are brick bands and strips, along with a dentilled cornice that extends into the gables. The end of the building facing the road has a similar window, with a rear brick pent roofed hood supported by curved brackets above a planked door, and smaller similar windows set high.
