Description

The Village Hall, originally a Sunday School, was built in 1868. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of four bays, with a projecting porch in the first bay. The corners are accented with quoins. The porch has double board doors set in a chamfered pointed arch, which is topped by a label that extends over a small trefoil-headed window to the left. There are three two-light trefoil-headed windows along the front. The building is finished with copings, a bellcote on the left gable, and a chimney stack on the right.
