Description
Chantry Farm Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of rendered rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building likely follows a hearth-passage plan and has two storeys with two first-floor windows. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door set within an architrave on plinths. To the right, there are 3-light windows on each floor, which have flush mullions and are also set within an architrave. On the left side, each floor features 4-pane sash windows with stone lintels and sills. The right side of the cottage has a shaped kneeler and ashlar coping. There are chimney stacks located at the centre and at the end of the right side. Additionally, there is a blocked doorway in the right return.
