Description
The Parish Room is a former school that was later used as a parish room, and it is now a workshop. It was built in the mid-19th century as an attachment to the School House, which served as the schoolmaster's residence. The building is constructed of flint and brick, topped with a tile roof. It has a rectangular shape with symmetrical elevations. Both the north and south gables feature a small ventilating opening, with a brick band above and below, and a large single window with a Tudor arch, which is linked to impost and cill bands, as well as a plinth band.
On the longer east side, there is a window on either side of a central chimney, with similar wall details. The windows are casements with diagonal leaded lights, and the gable windows include mullions and transoms. An open porch is located at the angle formed with the School House, featuring a hipped roof and an arched timber frame, along with a boarded door.
