Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations and extensions from the mid 19th century. It is constructed of brick and tile and features a symmetrical front facing south, consisting of two storeys and an attic with three windows across. The hipped roof includes three hipped dormers with casement windows and has a brick moulded eaves cornice. The walls are built in Flemish bond with rubbed flat arches and stone cills. The central section of the house projects as a half-hexagon, and on each side at the ground floor, there are 19th-century splayed brick bays. The windows are Victorian sashes set in reveals. A brick porch with a simple moulded parapet and an oval arch leads to the entrance, which has a half-glazed door. The rear of the house has similar wall details, a large attached chimney stack, and casement windows. To the north-west, there are 19th-century extensions with lower roofs.
