Description
Nos. 211 and 213 on Wakefield Road are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed from thin coursed hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages have three ashlar stacks along the ridge and are arranged in three bays over two storeys. Each bay contains thin, flat-faced mullioned windows with three lights on each floor, characterized by overlapping heads and sills. The doorways, which have monolithic jambs, are located to the right of the first bay window and between the second and third bays, with a tall single light window above. Similar windows can be found at the rear, which are more solid in appearance.
