Description
Nos. 83 and 85 on Bunkers Lane are a pair of cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from deeply coursed, hammer-dressed stone and feature quoins. The cottages have a stone slate roof with gable copings on cut kneelers. Each cottage has two near-central doorways, with a 4-light window on both the left and right sides on both floors. The windows have recessed mullions, and the ground floor windows also feature a recessed lower lintel. Above the doors, there is a 3-light window. To the left, there is a contemporary building that has been lowered and includes a 4-light window, similar to the cottages, as well as a recent garage door. The window frames on the cottages are slightly arched.
