Description
Dwarf walls, railings, gatepiers, and a gate to the Sunday School of the Upper Independent Chapel were constructed around 1890. The low wall is made of ashlar stone and features a coping. The decorative cast iron railings have ornamental finials. There are a pair of square ashlar gatepiers topped with segmental pediments that include foliage carving; one of these gatepiers is shared with the boundary of the adjacent chapel. A single gate is included, matching the railings.
