Description

House. The core of this house dates to the 17th century, with later alterations in the late 18th century. It has a timber-frame construction, now largely hidden behind a brick facade. Structurally, it consists of a three-bay timber-frame arrangement with a cross-wing. A plinth runs along the base. The cross-wing is situated on the left, with slightly projecting brickwork. The right side features a 20th-century door set within an older frame and flat hood. Four segmental-headed, two-light casement windows are present, two within the cross-wing, and each with a blue brick apron and panel above. A diaper pattern appears above the door. Three 19th-century tile-hung gabled dormers are visible, each containing a two-light casement, with a further two-light casement in the cross-wing. The roof is half-hipped on the right side, with a stack on the hip and a large ridge stack to the left of the door.
