Description
The gate piers, walls, railings, and gates enclosing the garden on the south side of Nos 11, 13, and 15 date from 1559. Starting from either end at Nos 11 and 15, the structure includes a stuccoed pier, a lower stuccoed wall, another stuccoed pier, and iron railings that return downwards to a low ironwork gate. This gate is flanked on the other side by iron railings that return upwards to a stuccoed pier, followed by a stuccoed wall and another stuccoed pier. In the center, across the entire front of No 13, there are cast iron railings on a stuccoed base. The piers have plain capping, while the railings feature spear-headed terminals, square standards, and urn finials.
