Description
The Grange is an early to mid-19th century building designed in the Greek Revival style. It is two stories tall and constructed of stucco with incised joints. The building features angle pilasters with moulded bases and capitals, and a stringcourse adorned with shaped pediments and moulded brackets above the first-floor windows. The eaves are moulded and flat, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate. There are five sash windows on the first floor, each three panes wide and set in reveals, and four sash windows on the ground floor, which have a moulded dentil cornice supported by console brackets above them. A central Greek Doric porch with columns and an entablature shelters a six-panel door, which is flanked by sidelights and set within a panelled reveal that has a moulded architrave surround.
