Description

The garden gates to No 14, located on the south side of The Abbey, date from the 16th century. They are made of contemporary cast iron and are situated at the east and west ends of the garden. The gates feature rails topped with spear-headed finials and are supported by square cast-iron gate piers. Each pier is decorated with diamond and circular patterns on each side, and they have cast-iron capping with urn finials.
