Description
County Primary School is a primary school built in the early 19th century, with later additions from the late 19th century and 20th century. It features rendered walls and a hipped slate roof. The original section is a simple rectangular block with a central doorway on the east elevation, flanked by two windows on each side. The windows on the north side are sashes set in reveals, while those on the south side are late 19th-century casements that match the style of the later extensions. The tall doorway has a flattened Gothic arch topped with a traceried fanlight that includes coloured glass, above a six-panelled door. The late 19th-century additions at the rear are designed in a similar style, and there are additional smaller extensions from the 20th century, each featuring different styles and materials.
