Description

This barn, located 30 yards south-west of Gavelacre Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century and has a late 20th-century covering. It features a timber frame consisting of nine bays with aisles and has two wagon entrances on each long side. The structure includes a Queen post truss with arch-braced tie beams and has a hipped and half-hipped tile roof. The walls are boarded and sit on a brick base.
