Description
The stable block, dating from the mid-18th century, is located 20 meters west of Norman Court House. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. Originally, the stable was well detached from the house but was built parallel to the service wings of the house, resembling them in style. The building is two stories tall and has nine bays.
The side facing the house includes three blocked wide arches in the center bay, with 20th-century single-storey additions in front of the end bays. The first floor features short six-pane sash windows and has a string course. There is a cornice above the first floor with a coping.
On the other side, there is a 20th-century addition covering three bays at one end. The remaining bays have arched openings with blue imposts, which lead to recessed 12-pane sashes or doors with fanlights. The first floor again has six-pane sashes, a string course, a cornice, and a low parapet. Above the cornice, there is a central pediment with a moulded architrave and a keyed oculus that contains a clock. A bell cupola is situated on the ridge, and the roof is hipped, with stacks above the bays on either side of the central section.
