Description
Tanglewood is a house dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, constructed of pebbledashed brick with an old plain tile roof. It stands on a plinth and features a two-storey structure with a three-bay central section, flanked by projecting crosswings on both ends, and a two-bay wing on the right-hand side. The entrance is a planked door located under a hip-roofed open porch on the right crosswing. The central bay of the main section has a large canted bay with an oriel window above, and there are 12-pane sash windows on either side on the first floor. The left wing contains a three-light casement window, with an oriel window above the door. The right wing features two and one-light casements, along with a three-light window on the first floor. The roofs are hipped, and there is a single diamond stack to the left of the centre of the main part, with a pair of diamond stacks to the right of the centre. Additionally, there is a stack with quadruple diamond shafts at the junction of the right wing and the main section.
