Description
North Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge constructed of brick with a slate roof. It is a single-storey building with a three-by-three bay layout. The left-hand side of the front features a 20th-century one-bay addition with a lean-to at the front. The lodge has brick rusticated quoins, and each bay contains a recessed arch panel with an arch made of rubbed brick and a raised brick impost that connects the bays. In the side bays, there are 12-pane sash windows beneath rubbed brick heads. The low parapet has stone coping, and behind it, there is a hipped roof topped with a louvred square cupola. The left-hand lean-to includes a 20th-century three-light steel window.
