Description

Westmill is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with early 20th-century additions. It is constructed of brick and flint, with the upper part being timber-framed and a thatched roof. The building has one storey and an attic, featuring two dormers above three windows. The roof is half-hipped with a catslide at the rear and raised eaves to the dormers at the front, along with an extension above the porch. The walls above the eaves level showcase exposed brick-nogged framing, while the main walls are made of flint with red brick quoins, horizontal bands, cambered arches, and plinth mouldings. The windows are casements, and there is a 20th-century porch designed in the same style, featuring a boarded door.
