Description

The Den is a house dating from the late 18th century, with 20th-century additions. It is constructed of flint and brick, topped with a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and features three windows, along with a single-storey extension added to the east end in the 20th century. The roof is hipped at the west end and lowered at the east, with a catslide at the rear. The walls are made of flint, accented with brick quoins, bands, and cambered openings on the ground floor; the 20th-century extension is rendered. The windows are casements, and a former doorway has been converted into a window. At the west end, there is a 20th-century boarded porch that also has a thatched roof.
