Description

The barn and stable located to the rear of the White Lion Public House is an L-shaped block dating from the early 19th century. The larger section has been converted into a garage, while the smaller section serves as a cottage. The building features plastered walls and a hipped thatch roof. The larger unit consists of a four-bay timber frame with one aisle, and the truss includes straight struts. It has a carriage opening and two doorways that face the courtyard. The smaller arm has a central door flanked by two casement windows, with exposed framing visible in the east gable.
