Description
Sunnydale is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed flint with brick dressings and features a thatched roof. The building has one storey and a dormer attic, arranged in three irregular bays. The central entrance has a 20th-century door set behind a hipped porch with a slate roof. To the left is a 20th-century sash window, and to the right is a 20th-century canted bay window. There is a central through-eaves dormer under the thatch, which contains an 18th-century five-light casement window. The roof is gabled, with a western stack on the front slope and an eastern internal gable end stack. An early 19th-century one-storey and dormer attic extension is located to the east, featuring a 20th-century window and door that are sheltered by a conservatory. The house also has a dentil eaves cornice and one flat-topped dormer in a gabled plain tile roof.
