Description

Old Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now without associated farm buildings, dating to circa 1740. It was altered in the early 19th century and again in 1977. The main part of the building is constructed of colour-washed brick, with a rear wing of flint and brick dressings. It has slate roofs. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four bays. The centre of the facade is dominated by a single-storey gabled extension added in 1977. The ground floor has three 19th-century casement windows of four lights each, each with a hood on label stops. There are three 3-light casement windows to the first floor, along with one late 20th-century casement above the extension. The roof is hipped, with a panelled ridge stack located slightly right of centre, suggesting an original lobby-entrance plan.
