Description

This is a 17th-century barn that was reclad in the 19th century, located 125 meters north of New Farm House in Leckford. The barn features a timber frame with walls and a roof made of corrugated iron. It has five bays and is aisled on one side, with pent-roofed midstray porches on both sides of the central bay. Inside, there is a queen-post roof supported by posts on a base-plate resting on a brick wall on the aisled side. The structure includes braces to cambered ties, wall and aisle plates, as well as curved windbraces.
