Description

This is a row of three cottages located on The Square in Nether Wallop. They were built in 1864, as indicated by a tablet on the building. The cottages are constructed of brick and have an old plain tile roof. The building is arranged as one-and-a-half storeys and has three bays wide, with a projecting, one-and-a-half storey gabled wing in the center.

The central wing features a 20th-century door positioned alongside a three-light casement window, with a two-light casement window above. The eaves are toothed along the sides and terminate as corbels on the bargeboards. The side bays each have a planked door at the outer end and a three-light casement window inside. They also have toothed eaves, and a two-light gabled dormer with bargeboards is situated on the roof.

The roof features combed ridge tiles. A chimney stands on each side of the central bay. This chimney has a rectangular bay with a cornice above three flues, with a diamond-shaped stack on each side of a lozenge-section stack.
