Description
Wayfarers is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century, with extensions from the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and additions, topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and originally consists of two bays, with a third bay added to the left and a single-storey outshot added to the front of the right bay in the 20th century. There are 2-light casement windows in the left and centre bays, as well as in the outshot, and the door is located in the 20th-century bay. The centre bay has a 2-light eyebrow dormer. The roof is hipped, with a stack at the inner end of the 18th-century bay and at the left end of the original building, while the 20th-century bay has a lower hipped roof.
