Description

Fishing Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage featuring a scantling timber-frame at the ends, color-washed brick, and a thatched roof. It is 1½ storeys high and has two bays with an outshot to the right. There is a planked door located to the right of the center, which is sheltered by an open hipped thatch porch supported by rustic timber posts. To the right of this door, there is a two-light casement window and another planked door in the outshot. Further to the right, there is a three-light casement window. The cottage also has two two-light casements in eyebrow dormers. The roof is half-hipped on the left side and sweeps down to the right, with a central ridge stack.
