Description

The Old Vicarage is a late 18th and early 19th century brick vicarage, now a private house, located on Church Lane in Nether Wallop. Originally a double-pile, three-bay building, it was subsequently extended with a bay to the left. The building stands on a plinth, with, in the second bay from the right, a doorcase featuring pilasters supporting an entablature. A flight of five steps leads up to a four-panel door. A 12-pane sash window has been added to the left bay. A canted bay window with a sash is present in the left bay, extending to the front and under a flat roof. Other windows are six-over-six pane sashes. The roof is hipped, with a stack on the ridge over the left bay, a stack behind the ridge in the right bay, and a stack on the right return ridge.
