Description

Old Thatch is a 16th and 17th century cottage located on Heath Street in Nether Wallop. It is timber-framed with plaster infill and has a thatched roof. The original plan consisted of two 16th-century bays, with a third bay added in the 17th century to the right. The cottage is one-and-a-half stories high. It has a one- or two-light casement window in the right bay, and similar windows on each floor at the ends of the cottage. The roof is half-hipped, and features an external stack on the right end.
